Assembly Fixtures

Designed multiple custom assembly fixtures across product lines to ease in the assembly of sub-assemblies and finished products. Using a mix of 3D printing and traditional manual machining. Designed ultrasonic welding horns and nest fixtures for multiple plastic part assembly pieces.

Laser Marking Fixtures

Using 3D printing, designed custom laser marking fixtures for easy, repeatable marking on anodized aluminum and stainless steel parts. Interfaced fixtures with existing platform on laser marking machine, including rotary chuck and peg board.

Inspection Fixtures

Designed 3D printed and traditionally machined fixtures to aid in inspecting machined components on CMM. Created multiple clamping fixtures to hold parts steady while CMM probed during inspection, using knowledge of latches, collets, and transition fits.
