Process & Inspection Control Plans

Worked with production shop team and inspection to determine critical quality attributes to verify in process when machining components. Worked with inspection on inspection plans (AQLs, Gage R&R) to efficiently and properly ensure that components were machined to print.

DFM & PFMEAs

Interfaced between the production shop team and design engineers to design parts that could easily be machined. Worked with the assembly team to review assembly instructions and determine high risk steps that could potentially have an affect on the finished good, mitigating any risk that could arise from assembly.

Process Improvement & MRB

Worked with quality engineers to continually improve internal processes during machining components. Led engineering input on the material review board, analyzing out of print components and whether they could be used or scrapped. Worked with quality engineers to contact suppliers to ensure that parts were in spec.

IQ, OQ, PQ

Wrote and performed installation, operation, and performance qualifications with quality engineer on new equipment, Laser marker, Ultrasonic welder, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe.

Assembly Instruction

Wrote assembly instructions to provide text and visual aids when assembling sub-assemblies and finished goods. Worked with assembly personnel to create work instructions that were clear and concise to ensure that product was assembled properly and efficiently.

ERP System

Utilized ERP system to track manufacturing statistics like cycle time, scrap rate, and overall cost. Used ERP system to also create accurate routers and BOMs to allow purchasing and planning to easily be able to meet high demands of production.
